Please read this page carefully before your first lesson
The full information sheet and Terms and Conditions still apply, but these are the main points most relevant to families moving from NSG.

Full information sheet and rules
Please read the full NSB Information Sheet and Terms and Conditions below before attending.
All Parents/Guardians and any visitors you may bring must read our General Terms and Conditions and the full NSB Rules and Regulations before arriving. This is especially important if another adult is bringing your swimmer in your place. Your attendance at our lessons is acknowledgement and acceptance of our Rules, Terms and Conditions without exception. You are responsible for the safe supervision of any children you bring at all times. Children should always be under the direct supervision of an adult and never be left unattended.
Before you arrive
Getting to the pool
Drive or walk all the way down the access road until you reach the Edward Cripps Human Performance Centre. The pool is inside.

Parking
Members of Water Wizards Swim School can park in the car park directly outside the pool. If there are no spaces left, there is parking for 40 cars in the “quad” (located on the left-hand side as you drive down towards the pool). If by chance both areas are full, you can either park in the Old Northamptonians Sports Ground opposite the school or in one of the side streets. The car park outside the pool can get very busy so please consider one of the alternatives if your swimmer is happy to walk the short distance to the pool. Please be considerate when parking and only use designated spaces.

Arrival and departure
Please do not enter the school site until 10 minutes before your swimmer’s lesson.
You must leave the facility no later than 10 minutes after the lesson ends.
Please note that swimmers will not be admitted if they arrive more than 10 minutes late.

Changing and getting ready
Swim-ready
All swimmers must arrive swim-ready, which means they should already be wearing their swimwear under easy-to-remove clothes before entering the pool building, as changing rooms are for use after swimming only.
Changing rooms
Everyone, including parents and guardians, must remove outdoor shoes before entering the changing rooms. Clean indoor footwear can be worn after outdoor shoes are removed.
Please do not bring glass bottles into the pool building.
Changing-room access
- Parents and guardians must not enter the changing rooms unless their swimmer is a Red Hat or is under 8, needs help getting changed, or this has been arranged in advance.
- Swimmers over 8 should change independently unless specific help has been agreed.
- Any adult helping a child under 8 should use the changing room that matches the adult.

During lessons
Phones, photos and videos
Mobile phones and all electronic devices, including cameras, tablets and laptops, are not permitted in the spectator area, corridors or changing rooms.
Photos and videos are not allowed.
Please switch devices off or leave them safely elsewhere before entering.
Poolside and spectators
Only one adult per swimmer is allowed into the pool facility, with a maximum of two adults if you have two or more swimmers attending.
Standing or waiting in the corridor is not permitted, and spectators may be asked to leave the spectator area 5 minutes before the lesson ends to help prevent overcrowding.
Parents and guardians are not permitted on poolside unless invited by a member of the team.
Important reminders

Parents and guardians are responsible for their own belongings and for supervising children they bring before and after lessons.
